Eligible nonprofits can receive up to $10,000 a month in Google Search advertising. Loveland Brand Design handles the application, the setup and the monthly work that keeps the grant active.
Google Ad Grants gives eligible nonprofits up to $10,000 a month in Search advertising on Google.com. Your ad appears when someone searches for what your organization does. That puts your mission in front of donors, volunteers and the people you serve at the moment they look.
The $10,000 is a monthly ceiling. Actual spend depends on your keywords, bids, ad quality and how many people search.
Charitable arms and foundations of healthcare organizations are eligible. So are philanthropic arms of educational organizations. Fiscally sponsored organizations without their own 501(c)(3) are not eligible today.
If your organization does not qualify, we tell you in the first conversation. Google decides every application.
Google attaches performance and structure rules to every Ad Grants account. These are the rules that apply each month, taken from Google's own policy pages.
Google requires a 5% click-through rate each month, measured across the account. Two consecutive months below 5% lead to temporary deactivation.
At least one meaningful conversion each month. Donations, volunteer sign-ups, email sign-ups, information requests and calls count.
At least two ad groups in every campaign, at least two sitelinks and specific location targeting.
Keywords with a Quality Score of 1 or 2 are paused or removed. Single-word keywords are limited to your own brand terms, recognized medical conditions, acronyms, and ten exceptions: charity, charities, donate, donation, ngo, ngos, nonprofit, nonprofits, volunteer, volunteering. Overly generic keywords are not permitted.
Accounts created on or after April 22, 2019 use conversion-based Smart Bidding, unless they run Smart campaigns.
Every grantee completes Google's annual program survey.
Google states that any account found in violation of program policies is subject to automatic suspension without notification. We review your account every month and fix drift early.
Performance Max campaigns are available in Ad Grants accounts. Ad Grants accounts cannot run election ads in regions where verification is required.
We prepare the Google for Nonprofits verification and the Ad Grants activation request. We walk your administrator through each step Google requires, and we track each review until Google decides.
We set up conversion tracking in GA4 and Google Ads, a compliant account structure, keyword research, responsive search ads, sitelinks, location targeting and Smart Bidding.
Each month we review click-through rate and conversions, clean up keywords, test ads and complete the annual program survey. You receive a monthly report in plain language.
Ad Grants requires a compliant website and tracked conversions. We build or repair both before the account launches, through our Digital Ecosystem work.
This follows the order we use for every paid media engagement. Foundations come first, and then the spend.
We price Ad Grants management as fixed scope and fixed fee, with no hourly billing. We tell you exactly what you are getting, and what it costs, before you sign anything.
AI runs through the work and is included in the fixed fee.
Google Ad Grants gives eligible nonprofits up to $10,000 a month in Search advertising on Google.com. Your ads appear when someone searches for what your organization does. Google sets the monthly budget at $10,000, which equals $329 a day, and treats it as a limit. Actual spend depends on keywords, bids, ad quality and search demand.
A US organization qualifies when the IRS recognizes it under Section 501(c)(3), or when it holds group exempt status through a central 501(c)(3), and when Google's partner Goodstack verifies it as a nonprofit. Governmental entities, hospitals and health care organizations, and schools, academic institutions and universities are not eligible. Charitable arms of healthcare organizations and philanthropic arms of educational organizations can qualify. Fiscally sponsored organizations without their own 501(c)(3) are not eligible today. Google decides every application, and we check your fit in the first conversation.
Google funds the ad spend through the grant. Loveland Brand Design prices its management as fixed scope and fixed fee, with no hourly billing, and we state the fee before you sign anything.
We apply, set up and manage. We prepare the Google for Nonprofits verification and the Ad Grants activation request and walk your administrator through each step Google requires. We set up conversion tracking, the account structure, keywords, ads and location targeting. Each month we review click-through rate and conversions, clean up keywords, test ads, complete the annual program survey and send a report.
Yes. Every Loveland Brand Design engagement starts with a Marketing Action Plan. The MAP covers audience personas, messaging hierarchy, funnel architecture and a tech stack audit, and the Ad Grants account is built on those decisions. Ad Grants management follows the MAP.
The grant carries rules that apply every month. Google requires a 5% click-through rate each month, at least one tracked conversion each month, at least two ad groups per campaign, at least two sitelinks, specific location targeting and conversion-based Smart Bidding. Keywords with a Quality Score of 1 or 2 must be paused or removed, and the account must complete Google's annual program survey.
Google states that most Google for Nonprofits verification requests are reviewed in 2 to 14 business days and that the Ad Grants activation review may take several business days. After approval, Google sends two emails: an account invitation and a payments profile invitation. The payments profile carries no charge. Google asks you to allow up to 3 business days for the invitation email to arrive. Google controls both reviews, so we give you the steps and the order, and we report each Google decision as it arrives.
Google states that two consecutive months below the 5% click-through rate lead to temporary deactivation until the account is corrected and reinstated. Google also states that any account in violation of program policies is subject to automatic suspension without notification. We review the account every month so drift gets fixed early.
Google reviews the website before it approves activation. Your organization must own the domain, the site must use HTTPS across every page, and the submitted domain cannot redirect elsewhere. The site needs a clear mission, substantial and unique content, working navigation, fast and mobile friendly pages, and working donation links, with no AdSense. When the site falls short, we build or repair it through our Digital Ecosystem work before the account launches.
Tell us about your organization. Within one business day you will hear from us, either to schedule the conversation or to tell you directly if Ad Grants is not the right fit.
Every Loveland Brand Design engagement starts with a Marketing Action Plan, so we use the conversation to see whether a MAP and an Ad Grants account fit your organization.
Fixed scope. Fixed fee. We will tell you exactly what you are getting before you sign anything.
