I serve businesses doing real work that helps real human beings. That is the filter. It was the filter before LBD had a name, and it will be the filter long after the tools we use today are obsolete.

For most of my career I watched the industry build empires around products I would not put in my own home, brands I would not recommend to my mother, and messages designed to manipulate rather than serve. I turned down work. Walked away from accounts. Lost income. The craft matters too much to aim it at something hollow.

LBD runs on AI. I am working through what that means in real time. Every time I deploy these tools for a client, I am asking whether I am using them in a way that serves people. I have not fully resolved that. What I know is I am supposed to pick them up and use them for the people the algorithms ignore.
